BRIEF HISTORY OF CLUB TWELVE 88 ABUJA
Club twelve 88 was formed in Abuja by twelve friends of common visions and desire to serve the community with their talents and resources and where necessary to mobilize others to jointly serve the communities where they are or elsewhere in Nigeria but more particularly around the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. It is also meant to foster genuine friendship amongst members and their families so much so that the entire membership of the club is one happy family.
The Club has since grown in size from 12 members to over 30 members today, with most members (about 70%) based in Abuja while the others who are also themselves engaged in all spheres of human endeavours are across the country such as Lagos, Ibadan, Kaduna etc.
While all fingers are never equal, the Club desires and encourages all new members to be men of good standing and character in the society so that the main focus of providing services to the community can be achieved.
The Club has in the past, carried out some community/humanitarian projects such as numerous cash and essential needs, donations to Karu Motherless Home, Karmo Motherless Home, some Hospitals around Abuja, save Steve Kadiri Fund etc. amongst others.
The Club has also, in the very recent past, provided Hand pump operated Water Well to Kuchigoro Community along Airport Road, Abuja which was commissioned by Prof. Ikejiani Clark, the former Minister of State, FCT, Abuja.
